Mixed Microbial Culture PHA Workshop

    The Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), co-ordinator of the Usable Packaging project – funded by the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking as part of the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme under grant agreement No 836884 – is calling for papers to be presented at the 7th Mixed Microbial Culture PHA Workshop in Valencia on 21-22 September 2021.

    Below is the template and guidelines to submit an abstract.  Please send your paper proposal by 31 August 2021 to  Prof. José Maria Lagarón, e-mail:  nastepursl@gmail.com.

    Forthcoming: Usable Packaging webinar – Portuguese

    Building up on the success of the French and Italian webinars dedicated to the Usable Packaging project, BBIA and NOVA-ID will be hosting a webinar in Portuguese online on 30 June from 9.30 to 11.30 CET. The Usable Packaging project is funded by the Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking as part of the EU Horizon 2020 programme. Its objective is to develop a compostable bioplastic from food industry by-products and food waste, for food, pharmaceutical and clothing packaging, in order to replace the use of fossil-based, environmentally harmful equivalents.

    Usable Packaging webinar – Italian

    The Usable Packaging project, funded by the Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking as part of the EU Horizon 2020 programme, aims to significantly reduce the use of fossil-based, environmentally harmful packaging by developing a bio-alternative derived from food industry by-products and food waste. As follow up of the webinar in French held in February 2021, a webinar in Italian was held on 15th April 2021.
